KDM- Congratulations to Rockaway Township Student, Andrew Scott, for Achieving the Rank of Eagle Scout. As part of his Eagle Scout project, Andrew Scott built GaGa Pits at all the District's Elementary Schools, including KDM. We are so grateful for his contribution.

The total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8 is a rare event and an opportunity for students to learn more about our solar system. On April 8, 2024, during the school day, teachers will be providing students with instruction regarding a solar eclipse and how to stay safe. On April 8, the Rockaway Township Library will be hosting a Solar Eclipse Watch Party from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. They will provide solar eclipse glasses, refreshments, and NASA live streaming of the event. This evening (March 26) at Copeland Middle School, the Rockaway Twp Board of Education will meet regarding Policy 5756 ~ Transgender Students. The public portion of the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the board’s attorney providing background regarding Policy 5756 and the Law Against Discrimination. Following the attorney’s presentation, the meeting will be open to the public for comments. All are invited and encouraged to attend. SB - Loves SEL! During today’s community learning time after school, teachers and staff were able to choose from 4 different creative outlet activities. A big thank you to all who hosted and helped us to relax!


The Rockaway Township Board of Education invites you to attend a Listening Session on March 26, 2024. The topic is Policy 5756 ~ Transgender Students. This Listening Session, advertised as a meeting of the Board of Education will be held at 6:00 p.m. at Copeland Middle School.
